Made neighbor run over the trash he kept piling at my door

I live in a small studio apartment, and due to the layout of the building, my whole apartment is directly above the downstairs

neighbor's garage. I picked the apartment because I have a large dog with a lot of energy and didn't want to have anyone living below me. Big mistake.

The downstairs neighbor keeps finding new ways to disrupt my daily life. In winter he'd warm up his truck in his garage for 30+ minutes with the radio cranked so loud it rattled my

Weary_Boat Most places have a rule about how long you can leave the garage door open. Check with management and then report him if appropriate.
  • 14
Informal-Candle OP We do have those rules and I did report him. Multiple times. Management just says they'll talk with him and nothing changes.

Tanyaschmidt Lovely plan. However a les generally never get it. They just get angrier.

madscot63 I'm completely surprised he picked up the litter.

karduar If he blocks your door again, call the fire Marshall.

CoderJoe1 If he leaves the garage door open all day, you can buy a garage door opener remote compatible with his door. You will have to go into his garage to pair it, but once that's done, you can open or close his door anytime you want.

paxrom2 You need to take pictures of garbage stacked in your front door so you have a record of his behavior.

ResidentAlien9 What a total a hole. I hope you'll take pictures and sound recordings of all his misdeeds. You can use them as evidence in a small claims case.
